TWEEN Off Site Adventures

Off-Site Adventure Program (Ages 9–13)

Our Off-Site Adventure Program is designed for older campers who are ready for bigger experiences, deeper challenges, and unforgettable summer days in the wild. These adventures focus on confidence, teamwork, skill-building, and pure fun — all within a highly structured, well-supervised environment.

Program Overview

  • Ages: 9–13

  • Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

  • Time: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Ancient Traditions Base Camp

  • Cost: $450 - $600 per session

  • Limited: 12 campers

Campers are dropped off each morning at our Ancient Traditions Base Camp, where they check in, meet their group, and prepare for the day. From there, campers are transported together as a supervised group to each off-site activity location.

Daily Structure

Each day follows a consistent rhythm so campers feel grounded, safe, and supported while still experiencing exciting new environments.

Typical Day Flow:

  • Morning arrival & group check-in at Base Camp

  • Safety briefing and expectations for the day

  • Group transportation to the off-site activity

  • Guided instruction, free play, and skill-building

  • Lunch, hydration breaks, and rest periods

  • Return transportation to Base Camp

  • Afternoon wind-down and parent pick-up

All activities are led by experienced staff with strong ratios, clear boundaries, and constant supervision.

Off-site adventure sessions take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only.
If you would like your child to attend camp on Monday and/or Friday, those days are registered separately through our Primary Camp program.

Guided river rafting adventures teach campers how to work together, follow direction, and respect moving water. Safety gear and instruction are provided, and routes are chosen specifically for youth-appropriate challenge and fun.

🐴 Groundwork & Communication

Before riding, campers practice groundwork skills that teach them how to communicate clearly and calmly with a large animal. This includes leading, awareness of body language, and understanding boundaries — skills that translate directly to confidence and self-regulation.

🏇 Riding & Horsemanship

Campers participate in guided riding sessions. Emphasis is placed on balance, posture, confidence, and relaxation — never pressure or performance. For many campers, simply sitting tall and moving with the horse is a huge personal win.

🌲 Wild Skills / Climbing / Hiking / Exploring

July 21, 22, 23

August 11, 12, 13

$450 per session

🌲 Ropes Course & Outdoor Climbing

Campers take on ropes courses and outdoor climbing challenges designed to build trust, teamwork, and perseverance. Fire-starting concepts are introduced in an age-appropriate, closely supervised way, followed by outdoor meals or picnics that reinforce connection and community.

🔥 Fire Skills & Outdoor Living

Campers learn the fundamentals of fire safety, responsibility, and respect for nature. Fire-related activities focus on awareness, preparation, and teamwork — never risk-taking — and are always guided by trained staff.

🧗‍♂️ Outdoor Climbing & Zip Lining

Campers advance to outdoor climbing and zip lining, pushing personal comfort zones while remaining fully supported. These experiences are paired with rest and grounding activities such as hammock time, reflection, and free exploration of the natural environment.
